There are various types of hydraulic pumps, which differ in their mode of operation and areas of application. The most important types are
-Gear pumps:
These pumps have a simple design and are robust. They are available as internal and external gear pumps, which pump the hydraulic oil through the rotary movement of gears. They are ideal for applications with low to medium pressures.
-vane pumps:
These pumps use moving vanes in a rotor to pump the hydraulic oil. They offer smooth and quiet performance and are often used in medium pressure applications.

An LS regulator (load-sensing regulator) is a special type of hydraulic regulator that automatically adjusts the pressure and flow rate of a hydraulic system to the current demand.
