During our visit to Schenker Hydraulik AG in Däniken, we were warmly welcomed by Daniel Sommer. Dani showed us round the company with great commitment. The direct look behind the scenes was exciting and very impressive.
After we had fortified ourselves with coffee and delicious croissants, we travelled on to Erlinsbach to the hard chrome factory. Ömer Aksoy explained the exciting processes of electroplating, in particular hard chrome plating and grinding, with a great deal of expertise.
Strengthened by a delicious lunch, we travelled on to Schinznach to DEMA Metallspritzwerk iCoat AG, which recently became part of Schenker Hydraulik AG. We received a warm welcome there too. Thomas Lötscher gave us a tour of the plant and gave us an exciting insight into the world of surface coating.
We were able to gain valuable impressions at all three sites. We particularly appreciated the open dialogue, the professional small talk and the personal discussions with the employees on site. An all-round successful day that not only enriched us professionally, but also personally.
